Oh these last 3 days were wonderful. I guess Ill start with Thursday.
I went out with Julie , Jerms, Rob, Patrick and some guy named Adam(he was cool). We went to trivia at Tijuana Joe's and then we went to go see A Series of Unfortunate Events at the theatre. Trivia was really funny. Actually Patricks house was really funny. Ill start with Patrick's house. I agreed to pick him up since he lives only 2 miles from my house. I managed to get into his neighborhood allright but I almost missed his house although I wouldnt have If someone had told me that there were giant lit candycanes the size of trees</u></b> in front of his house. Oh well, that was ok. After promising his parents Id bring him back in no more than 5 pieces, we set out to get to the restaurant. And smart me I got lost and almost parked in front of another mexican restaurant with the same lighting edging as TJ's. Well, we got out of there and actually made it to TJ's. Someone was already there. Jerms is ALWAYS early. We sat down, started a team called "Nobody's Here" since frankly, nobody was there yet. The questions were kind of hard but it was cool to find out the guy who was asking the questions was an Astronomy major from GT.

What was the name of the guy who shot 4 people on the NY subway and was called the subway desperado?
Our Answer: "Jared - The Subway Guy"/
The announcer made fun of us over the mic for that one. Oh and he made fun of this answer to this question too.
What was the name of the 1960's series that involved spies and often involved the phrase "Sorry about that chief?"
Our Answer: Gilligans Island: Spies Attack!/

Both answers were wrong of course. But they were better than the right answers.
Rob made up some funny ones too. I cant remember the one...
Oh and we moved from our table into a booth because the tables were rocking back and forth. And the booth was really cramped. And we started tickling each other. And it ended up with me spilling ice from my empty water cup allover Jeremys lap. It was so much fun. And when Julie gets ticked she doesnt make any sound. Her face just sort of scrunches up.
That was loads of fun. I made a new aquaintance in Adam. But apparently Patrick already knew him.
We headed out to the movies but the other carload wanted to stop at Steak n Shake to grab a milkshake before the movie. Partick and I got lost. We took the left turn AFTER the Chick-fil-A instead of BEFORE the Chick-fil-a. Man, totally Patricks fault who was giving me directions while talking to Jeremy on my phone. Hehe. We ended up passing over GA400 and we were like...uhh..thats wrong. We turned around and actually made it to Steak n Shake. Where we discovered only Jeremy. Everone had bought their milkshake and left by the time we got there. Poor Jeremy was waiting for us. Oh well, we made it to the movie anyway. But not without Jeremy almost smashing into the back of my car. It would have been okay though since it would have been his fault and my parents wouldnt have killed me. hehe. Bad parking lot tailgating jeremy!
Well we made it to the movie. It was okay. They totally didnt follow the books at all. But thats fine. It was kind of hard not to piece the movie apart and find what was different from the books. I tried not to. I only caught myself doing it 3 times.
After the movie, lo and behold, Saila, Vince and Gayathri were outside the theatre. They too went to some late showing of a movie. We stayed up talking until about 1 am. It was great. I hadnt seen Vince in about 2 years. I didnt realize what a gap he left until we started talking and joking like old times. It made me really nostalgic and I started to really miss High school. Vince is sporting this awesome new mustache. He looks EXACTLY like a mobster. I know hes in the mob. Thats the REAL reason he decided to attend the University of Chicago! I knew that college had an underground mob program! Well it was cool. It nice having a mob contact.
I went and dropped Patrick off at home afterward, in one piece mind you. He was nice enough to give me copies of some software I was lacking. I made it home by 1:45 or so. It was great. Thursday was a great day.
Saturday involved going out to the mall and a movie with my parents. I saw National Treasure. It was actually very good. Ive learned not to trust the movie critics. They dont produce very accurate reviews when it comes to my tastes. We went to Tamil Church in the evening for the Watch Night Service. We prayed through midnight. Its nice to start the year that way.
Today we went to Hotel Saravana Bhavan for our traditional New Years restaurant Outing. Then we went to the gold jewelers to buy our customary new years gold. We went to Veeraj Jewelers for this. My mother got a really nice gold and white gold necklace and some gold earrings. My father was so nice and bought me a beautiful golden ring. It looks like a wedding band but I didnt care. It was lovely and I am glad he bought it for me. I guess its a reminder that even if hes a butt sometimes he still really cares about me. I love him too. We have a sort of love hate relationship. But you know, I know he'll always be there for me. And I for him.
On the way home we stopped by the Chattahoochee river and fed some ducks and geese. It was the most beautiful day today. The temperature was at a wonderful 70 degreed Farenheit. Its a big change from the temperatures earlier this week in the 10's. I love Georgia for the reason that we always get a break from the cold, grey, and bleak weather now and then. We went home and slept and woke up in time to go watch Meet the Fockers with some others with my family. For all the hype it got,
it was an awful movie. Id gladly taken my money back. So..we're back home and Im typing this. These last 3 days were great. And wonderful. Ill remember this weekend for a long time to come. ^_^
